Lack of God

I reframed this original post, from 07/2006, because there was some things out of context, and because I changed my mind in some points. So, I believe that is a original post for #Thirty-three since I really reframed this one.

A long time ago I receive an e-mail with some communities of a certain social network. They speak rude things about Jesus, like "pig nazarene", "Good God is dead God", "Jesus Christ, gay?", "Jesus - the world's first pedophile" and "Jesus, the Roman farce!". 

I was very sad, because that communities have hundreds and hundreds members. The people who says that follow Jesus was being negligent with the Jesus order. What if one, or more, of this people, lack of God, in desperate search for meaning to life, die, and go to hell? Everybody has their own chance, it's true, but that don't disclaims us for our responsibility like advertisers of Good News.

I believe that we have the obligation to show grace for this people, and let the offense with them. Our ego maybe could be bruised, but we have to do it - nobody else will do.

"Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more {than others}? do not even the publicans so?Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." - Matthew 5:43-48

And after all, they are sinners like us - if I could received the grace, why they don't?
